Sorry to bother you. Narrating ‘My Dad’s Army’ has led me to another project, which I thought might interest you. Some of you have already subscribed to the new project, to whom I give sincere thanks.
I have just started a new series called ‘Original Notes’, which is a kind of diary based on my time as a police officer and then as an international policing consultant. It is written in a very different style from my father’s although you may recognise the same ‘raised eyebrow’ outlook on life. It is intended to amuse, but also to comment on today’s world. You may have noticed that the rule of law is under attack, across the world, I would like to fight back, using my Original Notes, it is all I have.
Here is a link. If you hit the subscribe button you will get a five minute read every fortnight, which will build into a book.
You will notice that Original Notes is on a site called ‘The War on Dirty Money’, which is the title of a book I co-wrote with Dr Nicholas Gilmour and the platform of about thirty articles my me, on, well, the war on dirty money.
With very best wishes, Tristram Hicks
